I’m just building a U class myself, the rebuilt “K” class version using a secondhand Wills kit (£40 from Hattons) and a Finecast chassis kit (Excellent quality). It will be Basingstoke’s 31806 which, if I recall correctly, took me to Eastleigh on day one of my apprenticeship at the works.
I like the look of your “new build” version of the “U”, this looks to be a Wills kit too?
Kind regards,
Richard
Hi Richard yes it along with my other two Us are all built from Wills kits
