A splendid picture, Graham, as always. I’m particularly interested in the water crane with an extra long arm. Was it scratch-built or kit-bashed or does someone actually supply it r-t-r? On Hectorage Road I need to fit a platform-mounted one just like it. Thanks.

PS See you at Gaydon
Hi Malcolm
I scratch built all the water cranes on Fisherton Sarum as Salisbury had two types both the early low ex LSWR style and the later taller SR style as per this picture (needed due to the high raves on the Bulleid tenders) see my post here for details https://grahammuz.com/2012/04/03/a-view-from-the-line-5-water-from-tower-to-cranes/
I look forward to seeing again at Gaydon
Regards
Thanks Graham. Looks as though I’ll have to do the same. I’ve already had to scratch-build an SECR-style water column with hoses on either side and large hand-wheels at the top. It was quite a task but I’m very pleased with it.
