I was saddened, but fully understood the reasoning, last weekend at the REC exhibition in Woking to find out that Shirley Goodall will be attending her last three shows this year. It hardly seems like nine years since Albert passed on and Bulleid Pacific modellers as one are grateful to Shirley, ably assisted by ex Southern engineman Jim Corbett, for continuing to make Albert’s castings available.
Albert’s knowledge of all things Bulleid Pacific and his vast range of detailing castings, nameplates and full colour shields, assisted many a modeller especially before the standards and accuracy of today’s ready to run models were available.
Therefore anyone wanting 4mm Bulleid parts should get them now while they can, needless to say I stocked up accordingly.

I am now delighted that my friend and fellow Bulleid fan Robert Thompson of RT Models (yes he is also bus enthusiast and driver for which he has most suitable initials) has now announced that he has acquired the Albert Goodall range of mostly 4mm scale Bulleid pacific detailing parts. Robert's RT Models Cylinder drain pipes have already been fitted to my entire fleet of Bulleid Pacifcs and his new brass front steps have arrived and are yet to be fitted. […]
